I think that kids should stop trick-or-treating at the end of elementary. I say this because it would look kind of stupid for a middle schooler or a high schooler asking for candy while dressed up in devilish or inappropriate costumes just for the sake of getting free candy.
I also think that big kids should not trick-or-treat because they can make bad decisions like vandalizing and disturbing the peace. On the news last Halloween, it show that big kids were not making right decision by vandalizing and disturbing the peace and lots of other inappropriate things. Its not like they want to dress like a fairy or a princess for Halloween but, they should not trick-or-treat if their going to not do the wright thing.
I think that Halloween is a fun night for kids because they get to eat a lot of candy and then they get many cavities, than their parents have to pay their dentist bill,but thats not a good thing.Its not like big kids are going to stay up eating candy all night and get cavities,they should already outgrown those things.Although if they haven't matured yet and there still wearing a fairy costume as a high schooler they really need to grow up!
Although I don’t believe in trick-or treating because it is not in my religion,I am going to stick with this theory,even though I don’t know much.But I might be wrong and others might be wright. So this is my thought about when people should stop trick-or-treating.

I very much disagree with you because you think that people should stop when they are 21;seriously? that is way too old.How would it look if someone in collage asked you for candy they should have partys and not live like a little kid.there probraly already out of the house.that is why I think that people should stop at the end of elementary.
I see that you say that their technically an adult they should be having parties or go to scary movies or purchase candy for themselves they are just too old to be going door to door.they might also do bad things like vandalizing and disturbing the peace or molesting little kids and bothering them they can egg peoples houses or they can toilet paper the houses.I don’t think that 21 year old people are quite mature enough because they can be jerks and they can be in gangs.
in conclusion it is not that you're wrong but I just don’t think that people should stop when they are 21 years old. That is why I think people should stop when they are at the end of elementary school,because they have 6 years to do Halloween and I think that is a lot of time to act like a kid.I hope that you are not offended so bye have a great day!

I still disagree with you, because when u get out of elementary school you still want to go trick-or-treating. I think you should stop trick-or-treating in the 9th grade. This is because when you're in highschool you start to lose the real meaning of Halloween, you want (normally) to scare younger children, and you'll start to wear inappropriate costumes.
And again you made a great point on when children get cavities it can be very expensive, but children normally don't care or they brush their teeth thoroughly after eating abundance of candy. Specially in middle school and high school. They know better. In elementary school you love to go trick-or-treating that's the one holiday that you can do whatever you want, and we love it so much. Free candy it's ridiculous sure but no one really cares, everyone's enjoying the holiday to much to really even notice.
When you are in 9th, you start to forget what you should be doing, not scaring younger children, or Waring inappropriate costumes, but trick-or-treating. I think you start to forget that in 9th grade not in elementary. I think only kids who do not celebrate Halloween are going to stop in elementary or just not do it at all.
In the 9th grade you'll start to wear inappropriate castus. When this happens you'll want to start transition, to passing out candy then going to go get it. But until then you should have fun with your friends. Scaring kid is inappropriate and nominally in high school you will start doing it. I have not seen any kids in middle or elementary scaring kids. I think this is because they might be getting scared by other older kids. So in conclusion I think kids should stop trick-or-treating in the 9th grad not in elementary.
