Halloween Debate

I would like to publicly acknowledge all of you that participated in the online debate.  I'm proud of all of you and appreciate your appropriate Netiquette. 

So, was it a big deal debating the social norm of Trick-or-Treating?  What else does society tell us to do and not do?  I look forward to further conversation about social norms.
