This week in Language Arts, your student will be doing a thorough dissection of the following vocabulary words: excel, arrogant, burden, conserve, duration, futile, hoax, innovation, jovial, and leisure.
Having heard a word is very different than actually using it, knowing its part of speech, how it would be used in its context, and how to use it in their everyday oral language. Your student will be studying these words and will show their understanding by taking a test on Friday.
